Description: Climate change is one of the great challenges of our generation, destined to, in the words of British PM Tony Blair, "radically alter human existence." Yet it is clear we have the tools to mitigate its worst affects by acting soon and with urgency. This one-hour presentation provides the very latest information from the IPCC, the UN-based body charged with climate change research. It will include basic discussions of 1) the science, 2) global temperature projections through 2100, 3) expected impacts on weather patterns, human health, and species extinction, and 4) proposed solutions to climate change.
