Does the 11th Hour really make a real difference/
After having lived in LA for 4 years (now elsewhere) - I have come to see how americans (esp new americans) from mexican, korean, african, chinese etc - backgrounds are disconnected from the environmental movement. It seems they see it as a a white thing. I don't think this movie will help this. The trailers are one white male interview after another. Would it even appeal to white women? I am mostly vegan which is a special choice to help to the environment on top of what I already try to do. I am committed personally to change. I have also coordinated NWEI.org courses. So when I say the film is un-inspiring and even just embarassing in its lack of color - it is just well - sad. If it is easy to get to - I will see it but I am not going to go out of my way for more white and mostly male preaching that does not reach real people. Let's be more effective, and show all people how all of us can make a difference.
