Obama Acknowledges the Industrial Food System's Role in Global Warming

It is exciting to see that our new President-Elect Obama is aware of and seems ready to address the role that industrial agriculture plays in global warming, our dependence on fossil fuels and our increasingly unhealthy population. In a recent interview, Obama sited an article by author Michael Pollan which calls for us to shift our agricultural system away from dependence on cheap oil. It is also exciting to see that our new President-elect actually READS!

I had to laugh at what David Letterman said in his monologue last night.

"Today the new President-elect met with President-inept."
