Scientific Skeptics of Anthropogenic Global Warming(AGW)

There is a growing number of vocal scientists that are challenging the overwhelming consensus of the scientific communtiy (i.e. the IPCC and every National Academy of Science of the major industrialized nations). They are challenging Anthropogenic Global Warming(man-made Climate Change) consensus and are furthering the misconception that there is widespread debate over this issue. You can find out about who these leading skeptics are and who is behind them by going to this link: http://www.patmichaels.com/aggregator/sources/6

That is why I posted the link. There are companies out there with too much to lose with Carbon Tax, Pollution Cleanup, etc. Several Oil Companies, such as BP and Chevron have got with the program and realize the future of their companies lay with renewable energy and new non-polluting technology. The rest of the fossil fuel companies just want to go with the old missinformation ploy. It worked for the start of the Iraq war with my government and it is gaining ground now with the fossil fuel energy companies. The main thing now is to spread the word and expose these so-called objective scientists. Note from the link in the start of this thread that almost every one of those guys have little or no peer-reviewed climate research.

At least you would be helping make a better planet.

I cringed when I saw the front page of The Arizona Republic last Sunday. The front page article was titled, “Skeptics Raise Doubts on Global Warming”

The other front page article, “Outspoken ASU Professor Draws Ire,” is about Arizona State University climatologist Robert Balling who has spoken and written extensively against the widely held scientific view that the documented rise in global temperatures is the result of human activity and that serious consequences will result. His views have elicited outrage from environmentalists and scorn from some fellow scientists. They've also resulted in conference invitations and research grants from industries with a stake in debunking the large body of research that supports a link between human activity and global warming.

Of course any naysayer will not bother to completely read the articles, they just see the headlines and will feel justified in continuing on with their lifestyle, and won’t feel compelled to make greener choices.
