On A New Day

The good thing in life is its being a journey. And it is as if everyone is in a continuous bliss along its path. Indeed I suppose we are, for the best things in life are free. But one of man’s greatest challenge is in accessing these free things we speak of. The modernity of life has also clearly impacted one’s vision and appreciation of the immense beauty that unfolds each day, in fact each moment. You walk across the streets and your sight could easily get bombarded with billboards, streamers and many advertisements all offering us the alternative ways as which to conduct or suit our goals better. Vanity in many forms offering one’s consciousness an attractive expression but it also serves as a barrier to that inner call to come to terms with one’s spirit. Is this a dilemma or a reality far from truth? But how do we appreciate the truth better so we may not fall into false hopes. Remember back in our formative years when we practice reading and we are taught to pause in between the lines. Yes we should pause in the everyday conduct of our life because beauty and meaning has to be pondered upon if one wishes that more than just appreciating it, that it can be lived also, more importantly. It brings us closer to truth - God. Each new day is a testament that miracles are not those that we imagined to happen or have been wishing so hard but that miracles had been continuously freely endowed to us, and within our grasp. Never fail to appreciate the sunrise to give us warmth; the rain to quench the thirst of our habitat; the air we breathe; the smiles of children and embraces of friends; that inspiration that propels us to higher ground. On a new day it never runs short of miracles. We find ourselves caught in rapture for all the heavenly glimpses of grace.
