Giving Power to a Silent Voice

Description:

In April of 2007, a buddy of ours Rosman Nordin, embarked on a journey that would take him over more than 10 countries, 42,000 km, 2 continents, from deserts to snow to share a message of hope and action.  A volunteer worker for the Malaysia Society for the Deaf, Rosman travelled from Bangladesh to Helsinki visiting remote settlements teaching and sharing about communication & integration of the deaf in their community.  He gave an account of his findings during the International Conference for the Deaf later the same year having travelled SOLO over some of the most beautiful & challenging routes on our planet.

We had the privilege to help (in our small way) to keep his laptop & various communication/navigation equipment running during his trip.  He strapped our solar charger to the back of his bike & rode through sand, snow & everything in between while charging the back up battery pack that would keep his updates coming though out the trip.

Check out the newspaper article on him below
